Hostess – Barcelo Margaritas

About the role

Join the Barcelo Margaritas team in Las Palmas as a Hostess, providing friendly and efficient service to guests in a vibrant bar and restaurant environment. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality food and beverage experiences while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Execute qualified, autonomous, and responsible service and sale of food and beverages.
• Welcome guests, seat them when necessary, and ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Provide direct assistance to customers during food and beverage consumption.
• Prepare, set up, and dismantle service areas, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of work areas and tools required for service.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería) with HACCP (APPCC) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role.
• High proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of mixology, restaurant operations, and general hospitality practices is valued.
• Strong teamwork, stress tolerance, agility, and a well‑groomed personal image.
