Hotel Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

Join the Barceló Playa Blanca team as a Housekeeping Attendant, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas. You will ensure that every guest experiences a spotless and welcoming environment throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials needed for daily tasks.
• Clean and arrange guest rooms and common areas, checking the condition of furniture, fixtures, and amenities.
• Make beds, ventilate rooms, replenish linens, toiletries, minibar items, and ensure all supplies are stocked.
• Attend to guest requests, handle complaints, and process lost‑and‑found items according to protocol.
• Collect used linens and send them to laundry, and maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts and tools.

Required profile

• Basic education (ESO or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping position is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of English is a plus.
• Interest in hospitality and strong customer orientation.
• Ability to work well in a team, stay organized, and maintain high standards of order and quality.
