About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead the restaurant and bar operations at the Barceló Playa Blanca resort. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service, driving sales, and managing a team in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control the defined processes for service development.
• Achieve the department’s sales plan and revenue targets by planning promotional actions and training the team.
• Organise and coordinate all restaurant and bar services.
• Control costs and optimise the use of resources.
• Lead, train, motivate and develop the staff.
• Ensure service quality meets guest expectations, following the Maitre’s instructions.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training in Hospitality, a degree in Tourism, or HACCP certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• High level of English; a second language is a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, kitchen equipment and utensils is valued.
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation and the ability to work in a team.
• Excellent planning, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Commercial mindset and the capacity to develop teams.
• Well‑groomed personal image.
