Hotel Receptionist – Barcelona

About the role

The Miiro Borneta Hotel is looking for a friendly and proactive Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests in its vibrant El Born location. You will ensure a smooth check‑in and check‑out experience, provide accurate information, and help create memorable stays.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and interact effectively both face‑to‑face and by phone.
• Assist guests with check‑in, check‑out, and any inquiries about the hotel, local area, or events.
• Handle guest complaints, solicit feedback, and work to improve satisfaction.
• Maintain attention to detail for guest room security and access.
• Demonstrate knowledge of health, hygiene, fire safety, and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role within a high‑end or busy restaurant setting.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
