Hotel Receptionist – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Hotel Receptionist to join the front‑desk team at Barcelo Teguise Beach. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth arrival, pleasant stay and friendly farewell.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all reception tasks, including check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service throughout the guest’s stay.
• Perform concierge duties and handle luggage storage (consigna).
• Review and verify reservations and conduct night‑audit reporting.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by the Head of Reception.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Knowledge of ISO standards applicable to hospitality.
