Hotel Receptionist in Santiago

About the role

Join the Barceló Hotel Group as a Receptionist at the Barceló Santiago property in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in and welcome procedures for arriving guests.
• Handle check‑out and farewell processes.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service throughout the stay.
• Perform concierge duties, including luggage handling and guest requests.
• Review and verify reservations.
• Conduct night‑audit tasks.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service and quality assurance within the hotel sector.
• High proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, hospitality systems, CRM tools, and ISO standards is valued.
