Hotel Receptionist

About the role

The Hotel Barceló Santiago is looking for a professional Receptionist to manage guest interactions from arrival to departure. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle check‑in and welcome procedures for arriving guests.
• Process check‑out and farewell activities.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service throughout the stay.
• Perform concierge duties and manage luggage storage.
• Review and verify reservations.
• Conduct night‑audit tasks.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Reception.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing, or a related field with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, hospitality operations, CRM systems, and ISO standards is valued.
