Housekeeping Attendant (Camarera/o de pisos)

About the role

The Hotel Barceló Santiago is looking for a dedicated housekeeping attendant to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of guest rooms and public areas. You will work on‑site, following the hotel’s standards to provide a comfortable and hygienic environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organise cleaning materials, products, and equipment for each shift.
• Clean and tidy guest rooms and common areas, checking the condition of furniture and fixtures.
• Make beds, ventilate rooms, replenish toiletries, minibar items, and other supplies.
• Inspect rooms for any damages and report them according to hotel procedures.
• Assist guests during their stay, handle lost‑and‑found items, and respond to reasonable requests.
• Collect used linens and send them to laundry, maintaining a tidy work environment.

Required profile

• Secondary education (ESO) or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of English is a plus.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain high standards of order and quality.
• Motivation, responsibility and strong organisational skills.
