Housekeeping Supervisor – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead the housekeeping team at Six Senses Ibiza, ensuring that all guest areas meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and aesthetic quality. This role supports the resort’s commitment to sustainability, wellness and unique guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Train, orient and continuously develop new and existing housekeeping staff.
• Communicate regularly with other departments to coordinate smooth housekeeping operations.
• Monitor daily arrivals and allocate tasks in line with occupancy reports.
• Supervise and inspect rooms, corridors and service areas to maintain high standards of order, sanitation and presentation.
• Ensure proper placement of room and food amenities during inspections.
• Manage schedules, manpower coverage and overtime control.
• Oversee removal, repair and cleaning of furniture, curtains and fixtures.
• Report irregularities to security and handle guest requests promptly.
• Maintain inventory of linen, cleaning agents and equipment, and control stock levels.
• Keep housekeeping offices, storage areas and equipment in good condition.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising housekeeping teams in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and cleaning standards.
• Ability to train staff, manage schedules and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to brand values.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑department collaboration.
