HR Business Partner – People & Culture

About the role

Codeway is looking for an HR Business Partner to join its new Barcelona HQ. You will work closely with the Vertical CEO and business leaders, acting as a strategic partner on people matters while collaborating with the Istanbul office to ensure alignment across locations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders on people management, providing coaching and guidance for first‑time managers.
• Facilitate and lead training sessions, support managers through complex situations, and drive constructive conversations.
• Own the full employee lifecycle, including sensitive processes such as terminations, ensuring consistency and legal compliance.
• Lead compensation and benefits initiatives, conduct benchmarking, maintain internal equity, and support managers in making data‑driven decisions.
• Introduce AI‑forward thinking into HR practices, exploring how technology can improve people processes.

Required profile

• Strong partnership mindset with the ability to challenge and influence senior leaders.
• Excellent communication skills for handling difficult conversations and delivering feedback.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end HR processes with a focus on outcomes and legal soundness.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, AI‑native environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of compensation and benefits frameworks.
• Proven expertise in employee lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Ability to design and deliver manager training and coaching programs.
• Understanding of AI applications in HR and willingness to experiment with new technologies.
