HR Generalist – Barcelona

About the role

Trivelta is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to lead and own the People Operations function for its Barcelona office. You will work in a fast‑growing, international gaming technology company, building HR processes from the ground up and ensuring a compliant, engaging employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and enforce HR policies, handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Review payroll for accuracy, resolve incidents, and oversee benefits, time‑off, and local compliance (payroll processing is external).
• Manage employment contracts, onboarding/offboarding, equipment provisioning, and HRIS upkeep (Gusto, Deel, etc.).
• Develop performance management cycles (90‑day, 6‑month, annual reviews) and professional development programs.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish labor law and coordinate with global HR teams (U.S., Mexico).
• Lead employee relations, conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
• Build engagement programs, company‑wide communications, and all‑hands processes.
• Maintain HR data integrity, reporting dashboards, and headcount analytics.

Required profile

• Hands‑on HR professional with experience in high‑growth, international environments.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labor legislation and ability to align with global HR practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster an inclusive culture and manage sensitive employee matters.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms such as Gusto and Deel.
• Familiarity with Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Proficiency in payroll and benefits administration.
