HR Generalist – Barcelona

About the role

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join our People Experience team in Barcelona. The role will manage core HR processes, support payroll and benefits, and contribute to recruitment and employer branding, ensuring a smooth employee experience in line with Spanish regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and off‑boarding.
• Prepare employment documentation such as contracts, amendments, and certificates in compliance with Spanish regulations.
• Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR policies, processes, and day‑to‑day queries.
• Collect, validate, and prepare monthly payroll inputs (salary changes, bonuses, variable payments) for processing via PayFit.
• Coordinate with Finance to guarantee accurate and timely payroll execution.
• Support benefits administration, handling enrolments, changes, and employee inquiries.
• Assist end‑to‑end recruitment processes for roles in Spain as part of the Talent Acquisition team.
• Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction initiatives to strengthen the company’s market presence.
• Support internal mobility and career development initiatives together with the People Experience team.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance processes, tools, and overall employee experience.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on HR Generalist experience, preferably in Spain or an international environment.
• Experience across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, HR administration, payroll coordination, and employee support.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• People‑first mindset with empathy, good judgment, and a strong focus on employee experience.
• Pragmatic, proactive, and comfortable working in an international setting.
