HR Manager – English Fluent (Madrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the evolution of our Human Resources function across multiple sites in Madrid. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong operational credibility, and fluency in English to interact with international stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, formalize, and implement corporate HR policies to ensure consistency across sites.
• Standardize people processes including recruitment, onboarding, leave management, performance management, training, and development.
• Advise General Management on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and compensation.
• Review and streamline compensation policies and the employee value proposition.
• Oversee personnel administration and coordination with the outsourced payroll provider.
• Lead and develop the current HR team, expanding its scope toward a comprehensive HR function.
• Act as the HR reference point within the management committee/board.
• Assess current tools and systems, proposing improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Labour Relations, Law, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in generalist or senior HR roles, preferably in people‑intensive service environments.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law, personnel administration, and employee relations.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on organizational design and talent decisions.
• High level of English (minimum C1).
