HR Regional Partner – Corporate HR (EMEA)

About the role

Amazon is seeking an experienced HR Regional Partner to join its Corporate HR team for the EMEA region. The role supports over 1,400 people managers across 20 countries, providing high‑judgement HR advice and helping to deliver an exceptional employee experience as Amazon strives to be Earth’s Best Employer.

Key responsibilities

• Advise HR Business Partners and business leaders on change‑management initiatives and performance improvement processes.
• Handle complex employee matters, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
• Facilitate manager development sessions and guide leaders through talent management and annual compensation cycles.
• Identify training needs and support career conversations and growth plans for employees.
• Engage with Works Councils, support negotiations, and ensure compliance with labour‑relations obligations.
• Maintain country‑level HR policy and compliance, updating documentation in response to legislative or Amazon‑driven changes.
• Participate in or lead subject‑matter expert groups to improve HR processes across EMEA.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local employment and labour law in the assigned country(ies).
• Proven experience as an HR generalist or consultant, delivering high‑quality guidance to managers.
• Excellent written communication skills for policy development and compliance documentation.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.

Required skills

• Expertise in HR investigations, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.
• Experience with talent management, performance management, and compensation processes.
• Familiarity with Works Council engagement and collective bargaining.
