HRIS Trainee (Internship)

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for an HRIS trainee in Madrid to support its People & Technology team. The role focuses on HR processes and data management, with occasional support to the Integrations team, and offers exposure to key leaders across the People & Culture organization. It runs for 6 months starting in December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Support the People Technology global team and help develop and support the People Technology strategy.
• Collaborate on several projects, gathering requirements, tracking progress, requesting feedback and taking part in change management.
• Help identify system gaps, contribute to system roadmaps and feature lists, and manage integration specifications, field mappings, troubleshooting guides and incident records.
• Review XML files, understand XSLT transformations and analyse SOAP Web Services requests and responses to investigate integration issues.
• Work with IT and external partners to roll out functionalities so systems match business needs.
• Learn about the HR operating model and systems enhancements, and gain exposure to APIs, data structures, XML and XSLT.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a school program, eligible to work in Spain (EU citizens or non-EU students enrolled in Spain).
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data visualization); experience with Jira, Postman, SOAP UI or similar is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of programming concepts, APIs, data structures or data transformation; knowledge of XML is a plus.
• Interest in HR systems, digital transformation and using technology to improve HR processes.
