Intern, People Generalist

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for an intern to join its People team in Spain. The role supports the onboarding of new employees, helps keep employment documentation accurate and compliant with Spanish labour law, and assists with payroll, benefits and employee administration.

Key responsibilities

• Support the onboarding of new employees in Spain and help them get the resources and tools they need
• Make sure employment documents are signed according to Spanish legislation and that benefits enrollment is completed
• Support HR daily operations such as employee records, system updates and document management
• Track sick leave and keep the database updated with information from Social Security and the payroll provider
• Explain benefits to new hires and current employees, and support administrative changes to salary, benefits, promotions and bonuses
• Help answer day-to-day questions from employees on benefits, payroll and company policies
• Manage administrative aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and support internal audits of employee files
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement changes

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration, Psychology or a similar field
• Previous internship or academic experience in HR is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Spanish Social Security, Spanish tax regulation or HR administration is a plus
• Proactive, detail-oriented, curious and willing to improve processes and coordinate between teams

Required skills

• Good data management skills, including Excel / Google Sheets
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Spanish
