I2C Collection & Dispute Management Senior Analyst

About the role

DePuy Synthes, part of Johnson & Johnson's Global Finance, is recruiting a Senior I2C Collection & Dispute Management Analyst in Madrid. The role sits in the Global Services Finance team, within the Invoice to Cash process, and oversees end-to-end service delivery of collections and dispute management for specific business units and markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee collections and open receivables for complex, high-value accounts, using negotiation and advanced dispute resolution to optimise cash flow, DSO and credit risk.
• Lead performance management of collection KPIs against SLAs, and run AR forecasting, trend and root cause analysis.
• Oversee sales order releasing decisions within defined authority limits and escalate risks appropriately.
• Own the end-to-end dispute lifecycle for high-risk or high-revenue accounts, acting as a senior subject matter expert on complex, non-standard disputes.
• Manage credits, revenue adjustments and reconciliations, and guide internal stakeholders and lead customer-facing negotiations.
• Drive process improvements, maintain audit readiness and controls compliance, and collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, Deliver Revenue and Finance teams.
• Support leadership with analysis, executive-ready reporting and special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance or a related field; CPA, CMA, MBA or similar certifications preferred.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience, including end-to-end invoice to cash exposure (cash applications, credit management, collections/dispute management).
• Healthcare/pharma industry experience preferred.
• Fluent English, Spanish and advanced Portuguese, spoken and written.
• Preferred: BPO or shared services experience, digital/intelligent automation knowledge, foreign languages.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office and ERP proficiency.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder influence skills.
