ICT System Engineer – Infrastructure & Workplace Services

About the role

The ICT System Engineer will join the Infrastructure and Workplace Services team of an international company operating in a highly regulated industrial environment. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining and continuously improving hybrid workplace and infrastructure platforms while ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of end‑user devices (notebooks, iOS, macOS, Windows) and administer Intune, Autopilot, MDM and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
• Administer and maintain server and storage platforms, including Windows Server and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, and handle patch management and OS/application updates.
• Operate VMware virtualized environments and oversee printing and print‑management solutions.
• Provide second‑level support, coordinate with third‑level teams, and participate in on‑call rotations.
• Contribute to infrastructure evolution projects, plan and execute migrations, and coordinate external service providers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures and checklists to ensure ISO 27001 compliance.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience as a System or Infrastructure Engineer in an international, enterprise‑level environment.
• Strong background in hybrid IT architectures and a proven ability to manage complex, mission‑critical systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the capacity to work autonomously and within a team.
