Industrial Systems Engineer

About the role

THEKER is a robotics and AI company based in Barcelona, seeking an Industrial Systems Engineer to drive scalable deployments of its intelligent robotic systems. You will bridge engineering and customer delivery, ensuring installations are well‑defined, documented, and repeatable.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system layouts and deployment structures for customer installations.
• Structure and formalize technical documentation that enables scalable and repeatable deployments.
• Capture and organize key system knowledge, including components, requirements, constraints, and suppliers.
• Support validation, compliance, and certification processes for deployed systems.
• Contribute to the company’s intellectual and industrial property strategy by formalizing technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of physical systems in industrial environments.
• Experience or exposure to system layout design, installation structuring, technical documentation, validation/compliance, and certification.
• Ability to structure complex technical information clearly and rigorously.
• Fluent technical English.
• Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate (100% on‑site).
