Industrialization Supply Chain & Quality Manager

About the role

An opportunity for a Supply Chain and Quality Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). The role leads end‑to‑end supply chain operations and quality management for national and international detail‑parts suppliers across multiple programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Airbus Defence and Space to suppliers, acting as the primary operations, industrialisation and quality leader.
• Participate in supplier selection, provide technical and industrial approvals, and lead industrialisation of work packages.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct quality audits, manage APQP deployment and execute First Article Inspections.
• Handle quality escapes and non‑conformities through root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and risk management.
• Represent procurement in Multi‑Functional Teams and during official assessments and audits.
• Lead recovery plans and field actions when suppliers face operational crises.

Required profile

• Aeronautical Engineering degree preferred, or Industrial/Chemical Engineering with strong industrialisation background.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Supply Chain Quality or Supply Chain Management with a solid manufacturing engineering background.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel 4‑5 times per year.
