Information Security Consultant – Spain

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to lead security operations for a leading technology consultancy in Spain. The role involves monitoring SOC alerts, coordinating incident response, and driving continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze and manage SOC alerts and security reports.
• Define and implement action plans for security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Escalate critical situations to senior IT leadership.
• Oversee security actions related to Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune and server infrastructure.
• Coordinate remediation activities with internal teams and third‑party providers.
• Track completion of cybersecurity action plans and corrective measures.
• Prepare operational, risk and executive‑level cybersecurity reports.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend improvements.
• Support governance, compliance and risk management initiatives.
• Lead a cybersecurity team of approximately six professionals.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity operations and incident management.
• At least 1 year preparing and tracking operational or security reports.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership.
• Ability to lead initiatives, coordinate teams and drive continuous improvement.

• Active Directory administration and Group Policy (GPO) management.
• Microsoft 365 tenant administration and security controls.
• Microsoft Intune administration and endpoint security.
• Management of physical and virtual server environments.
• Vulnerability management, security monitoring and remediation processes.
• Experience with SOC alert handling and incident response.
