Infrastructure Security Engineer – Hybrid (Malaga)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading IT services provider in Spain that serves global clients. As the fifth member of a growing security team, you will split your time between keeping existing security infrastructure operational and delivering new projects that expand capabilities and client coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM and vulnerability‑management platforms.
• Hardening and securing Windows and Linux servers, network devices and physical data‑centres.
• Develop automation and scripting for security operations using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible and Terraform.
• Apply security controls across hybrid environments and integrate them with private and public cloud services.
• Participate in on‑call rotations (approximately one week every five weeks).

Required profile

• Previous experience in an infrastructure security role.
• Strong knowledge of security tooling such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Splunk, QRadar, Palo Alto and Fortinet.
• Understanding of security controls, industry standards and appliance management.
• Highly organised, adaptable and able to work in an agile, collaborative team.
