In‑House Counsel

About the role

Marfeel is looking for a diligent In‑House Counsel to join its fast‑growing SaaS team. The role can be part‑time or full‑time and involves providing comprehensive legal support across contracts, compliance, data protection and emerging AI regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate client, partner and vendor contracts, ensuring legal compliance.
• Maintain a centralized contract database and oversee contractual documentation.
• Develop and update internal policies, terms of service, SLAs, privacy notices and other legal documents.
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management and dispute resolution.
• Act as the primary internal contact for GDPR and data‑protection matters, coordinating with external DPOs.
• Design and implement AI governance frameworks, conduct risk assessments and monitor evolving AI regulations.

Required profile

• Law degree or equivalent qualification, licensed to practice law in Spain.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal role (law firm or in‑house).
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• High ethical standards, professional integrity and the ability to work independently.
