International Order & Export Partner – North Africa

About the role

Roche is looking for an International Order & Export Partner based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain, within the Supply Chain subchapter of Logistics. You will drive the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process for international markets in North Africa (Algeria and Tunisia) and act as the key liaison between internal suppliers, the Sant Cugat distribution hub, financial institutions, carriers and international distributors. The role ensures customer orders are executed smoothly, export control and labeling regulations are followed, and bottlenecks are managed proactively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full customer order lifecycle (order entry, proforma invoices, confirmations, shipping advice, credit notes) and oversee document exchange with distributors in Algeria and Tunisia, including spare parts orders.
• Maintain customer pricing, monitor product shelf life and expiration dates, and manage supply bottlenecks and product availability.
• Lead payment collection and manage financial risk instruments such as Letters of Credit (L/C) and Cash Against Documents (CAD), coordinating with banks and Roche Services & Solutions on credit limits and clearing.
• Act as the single point of contact for export control in Algeria and Tunisia, handling material classifications, regulatory declarations and compliance checks, and prepare documents such as EUR 1 declarations, country of origin certificates and translations.
• Handle specialized labeling compliance, including Arabic product labeling and IATA dangerous goods labeling.
• Monitor inbound product flows to the Sant Cugat warehouse, work with internal suppliers, transport carriers and freight forwarders, and resolve logistics complaints about shortages, overshipments or damaged goods.

Required profile

• 3-5+ years of experience in international supply chain, order-to-cash, export customer service or logistics, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics or pharmaceuticals.
• Proven experience with Letters of Credit, CAD, EUR 1 certificates, customs documentation and export control regulations.
• Advanced English; fluency in French, Spanish and/or Arabic is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration and customer-focused skills.

Required skills

• ERP systems, with SAP SD/MM modules preferred.
• Understanding of warehouse operations, carrier management, IATA regulations and Arabic labeling standards.
