Investment Banking Associate

About the role

The firm is a leading financial institution operating in the Spanish market and is looking for an Investment Banking Associate to join a high‑performing deal team. This position provides real deal flow, direct client exposure and a clear career trajectory for a professional with strong financial analysis experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models and valuations for M&A, capital markets and corporate finance transactions.
• Prepare pitch books, information memoranda and client presentations.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes across legal, financial and operational workstreams.
• Conduct sector and market analysis to support origination and deal execution.
• Interact directly with clients, advisors and counterparties under senior supervision.
• Support senior bankers throughout the full transaction lifecycle, from origination to close.

Required profile

• 3 to 6 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory or corporate finance.
• Proven track record of contributing to closed transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Degree in Finance, Economics or Business; CFA or MBA is a plus.
• Ability to work at pace in a client‑facing, high‑accountability environment.
