IT Manager Spain

About the role

Sika Spain is looking for an IT Manager based in Alcobendas. The role covers IT operations, ERP/SAP support, infrastructure, business applications and digital transformation, aligning IT with business objectives and leading corporate, regional and area IT rollouts across Spain. It suits a hands-on IT professional who balances day-to-day support with longer-term improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Digital transformation, Power BI reporting and dashboards, and AI and automation initiatives
• ERP/SAP support, enhancements, troubleshooting and user coordination
• Project management of IT initiatives, including timelines, budgets, risks and stakeholder communication
• Team management: hiring, development, performance appraisals and handling major incidents
• Business relationship management with department heads and the Area IT Manager and GM
• Infrastructure oversight with the Regional Tech Team, including networks, servers, cloud and security
• Vendor and supplier management, and security, compliance and risk management
• Budgeting, forecasting, documentation and governance, and support of business applications

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of IT management experience, including leading teams in industrial companies
• Experience in digital transformation, Power BI, AI initiatives and enterprise systems
• Advanced Spanish and English; German is a plus
• Willingness to travel within Spain and occasionally across EMEA
