IT Systems & Network Administration Engineer

About the role

Bihr, a European distributor of motorcycle equipment and accessories acquired in 2022 by Arrowhead, is looking for an IT Systems & Network Administration engineer to join its international team of experts who design, implement and maintain its IT infrastructure. The position is based in Totana, Murcia, and offers a hybrid setup.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the network infrastructure and IT systems running at the highest level of availability and integrity in a hybrid, multi-site environment.
• Deploy servers, switches, firewalls and other components following existing procedures, proposing improvements where needed.
• Maintain the infrastructure securely and up to date, taking part in regular update campaigns.
• Manage user permissions and roles according to the access management process.
• Apply security policies, propose improvements and educate users on security.
• Analyse infrastructure issues reported by the support team or monitoring tools and implement solutions.
• Take part in day-to-day support, including end-user support and infrastructure maintenance.

Required profile

• Computer Science degree.
• Proven experience managing on-premise and/or cloud IT systems, LAN/WAN networks and backup tools.
• Experience with business-critical production systems such as e-commerce sites, ERPs (ideally SAP S/4HANA) or warehouse management applications.
• Spanish and English at B2 level; French, Italian or German is an asset.
• Proactive, autonomous and organised, with a good team spirit.
• Living near the Totana workplace is an advantage.

Required skills

• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Ansible).
• Experience with Fortinet and Ubiquiti firewalls/networks and 3CX telephony.
