Jefe/a de Partida – Hotel Ponent Beach

About the role

We are looking for a Jefe/a de Partida to lead the kitchen station at Hotel Ponent Beach, part of the Barceló Group. The role involves organizing food preparation, supervising staff, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and quality in a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of raw materials and utensils and allocate tasks for efficient station operation.
• Develop and supervise recipes according to menu cycles and food‑handling best practices.
• Direct, coach and supervise assistants and cooks in the preparation of dishes.
• Oversee cleaning, preservation and replenishment of food items within the station.
• Maintain hygiene‑sanitary records and apply the required controls.
• Assist with receiving, storage and internal stock replenishment following established procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training in Kitchen Management or Hospitality, or a degree in Tourism.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar kitchen‑station leadership role.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Knowledge of office software and familiarity with kitchen equipment, products and utensils.
• Strong sensory memory, creativity and manual dexterity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork orientation, planning and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• HACCP training.
• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
