Jefe/a de Partida Room Service – Royal Hideaway Corales Villas

About the role

The Hotel Royal Hideaway Corales Villas is seeking a motivated leader to head the Room Service department. You will coordinate the preparation and delivery of high‑quality food and beverage services for guests, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of the station, including raw materials and supplies, and allocate tasks for efficient workflow.
• Supervise and develop recipes based on menu cycles and food‑handling best practices.
• Direct and oversee assistants and cooks in the preparation of dishes.
• Monitor cleaning, conservation and replenishment of food items within the station.
• Ensure hygienic‑sanitary records and controls are completed and applied.
• Assist with basic receiving, storage and internal stock replenishment following established procedures.

Required profile

• Formal training: Higher‑level culinary or hospitality degree (e.g., Superior Cycle in Kitchen Management, Tourism degree) and knowledge of HACCP/APPCC.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Good interpersonal skills: kindness, empathy, strong communication.
• Ability to work in a team, plan, organise and make decisions.

Required skills

• APPCC (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) knowledge.
• Basic office software (office automation) competence.
• Understanding of hospitality and kitchen equipment, products and utensils.
