About the role

We are looking for a Sector Manager to oversee the food and beverage operations at Barceló Lanzarote Playa. The role involves supervising restaurant and bar services, ensuring high quality and guest satisfaction while leading a team of waitstaff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and intervene in the delivery of food and beverage services (restaurants, bars, etc.).
• Plan staff schedules and resources, manage shift rosters and control stock levels.
• Organise table assignments for waitstaff and monitor service flow.
• Correct team performance, resolve issues and support problem‑solving.
• Ensure personal hygiene, staff presentation and cleanliness of the sector.
• Control the “mise en place” and take orders efficiently.
• Report any deficiencies in food quality or presentation to the maître.

Required profile

• Vocational training – medium or higher level.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter, preferably in a similar supervisory role.
• High level of English; additional language (French or German) desirable.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capability to manage and motivate a team.
