Junior Accountant

About the role

As a Junior Accountant at Ogury, you will support finance operations for Italy and Spain, ensuring accurate daily accounting and smooth procurement processes. You will work closely with the Finance and People Operations teams in a fast‑paced international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Validate, enter and post expense accounts, cash and credit‑card transactions.
• Prepare month‑end journal entries, accruals and depreciation for fixed assets.
• Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Capture vendor invoices according to month‑end schedules.
• Manage the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) process for Italy and Spain, including vendor onboarding and payment processing.
• Support VAT calculations and related tax activities.
• Assist with fixed‑asset additions, write‑offs and depreciation runs.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and proactive with strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, international setting.
• Eager to learn and develop across various accounting areas.

Required skills

• Familiarity with accounting systems and procurement workflows.
• Basic understanding of VAT and tax reporting.
• Excel or similar spreadsheet proficiency.
