Junior Buyer Building Construction & Facility Management Internship

About the role

Airbus is offering an 11‑month, full‑time internship in Getafe, Spain, as part of its DISCOVER graduate program. You will work as a Junior Buyer focusing on building construction and facility management, gaining hands‑on experience in procurement and supplier management while completing a Master’s training block.

Key responsibilities

• Drive compliant Airbus general procurement processes.
• Manage facility‑management contracts and maintain continuous commercial relationships with suppliers.
• Conduct contract follow‑ups, reviews, and performance evaluations using KPIs.
• Support internal customers with inputs, change proposals, and risk management (debts, invoices, claims).
• Participate in supplier selection, contracting, and multi‑divisional tender projects.
• Assist in ongoing tenders, negotiation rounds, and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Procurement.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• General knowledge of international business and/or the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team spirit and ability to collaborate in complex, international environments.
