Junior Consultant - Financial Risk

About the role

FIS is looking for a university graduate with strong professional knowledge, creativity and a strong affinity for IT, with good analytical and communication skills, to join its team as a Junior Consultant - Financial Risk in Madrid. The role applies knowledge of risk management and financial economics to real-world situations, within a comprehensive training programme.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and solve customer challenges in a training programme alongside an experienced team member.
• Become familiar with the software, clients and technical and functional challenges of software development, implementation projects and post-implementation support.
• Act as a key interface between Software Development, Sales and Product Management, supporting all customer-related matters.
• As experience grows, support software development from business analysis through testing, define and implement test strategies, perform business analysis and solution design, and provide technical and functional support and training for consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Banking & Finance or an equivalent field.
• Fluency in Spanish (minimum C1) and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Analytical team player with excellent organizational and self-management skills.
• Dynamic personality with strong intellectual curiosity and creativity.
• Ability to understand complex problems quickly, think independently and propose innovative solutions.
