Junior Engineer – Technical Projects (Madrid)

About the role

Kontron Transportation is seeking a Junior Engineer to support ticketing and communication projects in Madrid. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the design, validation, and commissioning of hardware and software solutions for mission‑critical networks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical execution of ticketing projects, coordinating with internal software and hardware departments.
• Define technical specifications for new products and projects.
• Validate hardware equipment and software developments through Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Coordinate installation and commissioning activities at customer sites.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• High level of English.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and in a team.
• Valid Class B driver’s licence and personal vehicle for site visits.
