Junior Finance Business Analyst

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Junior Finance Business Analyst to join its Finance team within the Solar division. This position offers exposure to international finance operations and the chance to contribute to decision‑making through financial analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly performance analysis, highlighting variances, risks and opportunities.
• Participate in the accounting close process, ensuring accurate postings, accruals and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing internal financial reports and group reporting deliverables.
• Act as a business partner by providing financial models and analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Monitor costs, analyse key drivers and aid forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and corporate policies.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and promote digitalisation of finance functions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across different countries.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in finance and accounting, including general accounting, controlling and reporting.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with financial tools and reporting systems.
• Understanding of cost analysis and cash‑flow concepts.
• Good communication skills for interaction with international stakeholders.
• Adaptability to dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
• Collaborative attitude and focus on continuous improvement.
