Junior HR Generalist – Madrid

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Junior HR Generalist to join our growing HR team in Madrid. The role will give you hands‑on experience across performance management, employee relations, HR operations and Workday administration.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HR Director in administering performance management processes, including drafting and tracking Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
• Coordinate performance review meetings, PIP check‑ins and follow‑up discussions between managers and employees.
• Maintain accurate performance documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and local employment regulations.
• Assist with end‑to‑end employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, internal transfers, role changes and off‑boarding.
• Process HR transactions in Workday, maintain employee records and support system updates across HCM, Time Tracking and Recruiting modules.
• Respond to HR queries via the shared inbox and prepare regular HR reports and dashboards (headcount, attrition, performance activity).

Required profile

• Junior‑level HR professional with a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to act as the first point of contact for employee and manager queries.
• Familiarity with performance management, employee relations and HR compliance.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work with local employment regulations.
