Junior System Administrator – Cloud Operations

About the role

As a Junior System Administrator you will join T‑Systems' Cloud team to operate and continuously improve the T‑Cloud Public platform. You will work in a customer‑focused environment, collaborating with specialists to ensure reliable, secure cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve daily operational issues on a hyper‑scaler cloud backend.
• Install and configure software and hardware components.
• Manage and maintain network devices.
• Troubleshoot performance and connectivity problems.
• Implement security measures such as access controls, backups and firewalls.
• Automate routine tasks using common automation frameworks.
• Collaborate within an open, supportive team of experts.

Required profile

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific field, or equivalent professional training.
• Solid understanding of modern cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Linux, Bash scripting and network‑related services.
• Knowledge of physical and virtual networking, routing and firewalls.
• Experience with infrastructure automation.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
