Junior Trade Finance Specialist – English Required

About the role

Talan is looking for a motivated Junior Trade Finance Specialist to join its Corporate Banking team. This entry‑level position focuses on trade finance operations, particularly Bank Guarantees, and does not require prior banking experience. You will work alongside a global operations team delivering high‑quality services to international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Process client and partner guarantees in line with legal and risk policies.
• Perform internal controls, maintain accurate transaction records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Trade Services teams across Europe.
• Manage invoicing, align accounting entries, and handle payments to correspondent banks.
• Monitor daily operations and approvals within the Documentary Trade middle office.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or junior professional eager to start a career in trade finance.
• Strong willingness to learn, self‑driven, and able to work independently over time.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Ability to take feedback, ask insightful questions, and document learning.
