Junior/Staff IT Auditor (Spanish-English) - Hybrid

About the role

EY's Business Consulting Technology Risk team supports Financial Audit by analysing applications, systems and IT solutions and recommending improvements to the IT ecosystem to cover IT-related risks. As a Junior/Staff IT Auditor in the GDS office in Malaga, you will join a team working on projects with the latest technologies, helping clients choose the right business solutions and take part in digital transformation. The role is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute technically to Risk Assurance client projects and internal projects, and build and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Identify business opportunities and risks in projects and share issues with senior team members.
• Assist in IT application security assessments (IT application controls, IT general controls, segregation of duties).
• Help perform IT audit procedures to assess the operating effectiveness of the controls environment.
• Carry out IT testing in areas such as ERP (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), cloud security, database security, SOX audits, process automation, IT asset management, software license reviews, GDPR, ISAE 3402, ISO 27001 and others.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science or a similar major.
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, risk management, finance or IT.
• Fluent Spanish; English or another European language is a plus.
• Ideally: experience in international environments, ITIL, SQA or IT audit certification, and data analytics knowledge.

Required skills

• Competence in IT audit, controls and/or software quality assurance.
• Good command of the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with integrity and confidentiality.
