Key Account Manager - Sony Professional Displays

About the role

Sony Europe is looking for a Key Account Manager in Madrid to explore new sales territories for Sony Professional Displays and Solutions. You will address dealers, system integrators and end users across corporate to high-end education accounts, working with presales engineering to turn customer needs into tailored product solutions and to grow the customer portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and create opportunities within assigned accounts, and meet or exceed the stated financial quotas and targets
• Manage and optimise the overall customer account experience, and identify solutions that meet customer needs
• Build and maintain relationships with key executives and decision makers, and understand the customer's buying process
• Negotiate and close sales, and manage opportunities and transactions for long-term stability of the book of business
• Work with presales engineering and support Corporate channel and IT partners
• Maintain the pipeline up to date in Salesforce.com and keep end-user contacts updated in the company database

Required profile

• Experience in the AV/IT channel, resellers and integrators
• Fluent English and Spanish, spoken and written
• Background in matrix selling, collaborating with technical presales and services
• Substantial experience demonstrating AV products and solutions
• Strong prospecting skills, including cold calling, social selling, email and partner channels
• Knowledge of local dealers, system integrators and end users
