Lead AI Engineer

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a Lead AI Engineer to drive its company-wide AI transformation. It is a hybrid role split 50% between stakeholder-facing discovery and 50% hands-on engineering, combining leadership of a small team with building internal AI products.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal business leaders to audit their manual processes, act as a translator of operational bottlenecks into clear AI product features, and set realistic expectations on what AI can deliver.
• Design, code and deploy AI systems (LLM applications, agentic workflows, RAG, custom chatbots) that solve operational pain points and scale.
• Build and lead a small, agile team of AI engineers, contribute to the codebase and set high standards for code quality.
• Take internal tools from discovery and prototyping to production, making them easy for non-technical teams to adopt.

Required profile

• Deep, hands-on experience shipping AI systems in production (LLM frameworks such as LangGraph, LlamaIndex or agentic automation), ideally tools or chatbots that improved human workflows.
• Ability to see how an AI product could streamline a messy manual process and save hours of manual work.
• Strong software engineering background (APIs, microservices, databases, AWS ecosystem) and a pragmatic, outcome-driven mindset.
• Exceptional ability to build relationships with non-technical stakeholders and navigate ambiguity.
