Learning & Development Manager, Performance Materials

About the role

The Manager, Learning & Development, Performance Materials is responsible for building global capability across DKSH’s Performance Materials business unit. Based in Barcelona or Milan, the role drives learning excellence that delivers measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define functional competencies with subject‑matter experts and align proficiency levels to job roles.
• Conduct learning needs analyses and stakeholder interviews to prioritize capability gaps.
• Design and develop blended learning programs, both online and in‑person, with practical tools for on‑the‑job application.
• Lead end‑to‑end implementation, facilitate workshops, coordinate with local capability champions, and evaluate learning effectiveness.
• Advise stakeholders on the latest L&D methodologies and technologies.
• Promote collaboration between Performance Materials and other DKSH business units globally.
• Maintain partnerships with Fantree Academy and external vendors.
• Perform administrative and coordination tasks as required.

Required profile

• Prior experience in chemicals distribution or specialty chemicals is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end chemicals distribution operations and commercial workflows.
• Experience in learning and development or capability development within a multinational organization.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, cross‑regional learning projects.
• Fluency in English; additional European language(s) a plus.
