Legal Counsel - Commercial (Portuguese Speaker)

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its international in-house legal team, reporting to the Lead Counsel Iberia. The role covers Portugal and the wider Iberian region, with primary responsibility for Brazil, and works closely with Business Development, Tax, Finance, Product, Originals and Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and revise Portuguese and English commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP submission documentation and similar documents
• Support commercial teams in negotiating deals and documents
• Research legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritise and manage legal matters
• Contribute to knowledge management and operational excellence in Legal, including templates, guides and processes
• Take part in ongoing compliance functions and product advice
• Support the upskilling and growth of other team members

Required profile

• Practising lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a Portuguese-speaking jurisdiction
• Professional fluency in Portuguese and English; an additional language is a strong plus
• Experience on international projects or with global teams
• Team player, adaptable and eager to learn
