LLM Engineer – Quantum AI Scale-up

About the role

Join a leading European quantum software scale‑up at the forefront of AI and quantum‑inspired computing. As an LLM Engineer you will work on cutting‑edge projects that compress, fine‑tune and optimise large language models for high‑impact domains such as finance, energy and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement novel techniques to compress Large Language Models using quantum‑inspired methods.
• Fine‑tune and optimise transformer architectures for accuracy, robustness and efficiency.
• Evaluate GPU architectures and deploy high‑performance AI solutions on cloud and HPC environments.
• Act as a domain expert, mentor junior engineers and contribute to research publications.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in AI, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Mid‑level: 2+ years hands‑on experience with transformer models and deep learning.
• Senior‑level: 5+ years experience, including work with computer vision or broader deep‑learning applications.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills for global stakeholders.
