Lobby Ambassador

About the role

JLL is hiring a Lobby Ambassador for an on-site position in Madrid. The role covers front-of-house and reception services for a client's office, welcoming visitors and clients, managing bookings and keeping meeting rooms and facilities running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Cover front-of-house and reception services for the client's office
• Welcome and greet all visitors and clients
• Assist with internal and external bookings and take full accountability for meeting rooms
• Keep meeting rooms, services, video conferencing, facilities and public areas set up and maintained to the expected standard
• Facilitate room set-ups, including moving flexible furniture, and keep track of room status so rooms are ready before the next booking
• Report on available facilities, arrange viewings and accompany clients on tours when required
• Stay aware of business activity and share updates with regional team members
• Handle mail room work, the administrative task of managing shipping and receiving in the office

Required profile

• Experience working in a corporate or 5-star hotel reception environment
• Independent, self-managing worker with a strong customer service attitude
• Professional and confident telephone manner, with good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to use initiative, stay calm under pressure and multi-task while prioritising commitments
• Flexible approach to departmental requirements and a good sense of humour
• Solid command of written and spoken English
