Logistic Transfer Specialist

About the role

As part of Airbus Helicopters’ logistics transformation, the Logistic Transfer Specialist will ensure the safe, timely and compliant movement of parts from existing warehouses to a new logistics site. The role involves planning, coordinating and monitoring transfer activities to maintain operational continuity and traceability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and plan transfer activities in line with the logistics footprint strategy and central master plan.
• Validate readiness of parts, storage areas, equipment, documentation and transport capacities.
• Coordinate temporary storage zones and interim capacity to support transfer waves.
• Manage day‑to‑day transfer operations between sending and receiving warehouses (Marignane, Donauwörth, Albacete, Ile‑de‑France) and the logistics service provider.
• Supervise on‑site execution, ensuring correct handling, packaging, identification and physical integrity of parts.
• Monitor transport flows, address deviations, and communicate operational status, escalating safety, quality or delivery issues.
• Track progress against milestones, validate volume waves and synchronize requirements.
• Identify risks, prepare mitigation actions and ensure documentation, traceability and stock accuracy throughout the transfer.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Project Management or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in logistics, preferably in an industrial or aviation environment.
• Knowledge of customs, export control and aviation regulations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in an international setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
