Manufacturing Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and optimise our production facilities, ensuring high efficiency, product quality, safety and cost‑effectiveness. The role focuses on continuous improvement and achieving business objectives within the PET packaging sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and optimise equipment performance.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs such as OEE, waste, quality and production costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, quality requirements and internal procedures.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce waste, downtime and operating costs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain and other departments to maintain operational continuity.
• Develop, motivate and lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Proven experience managing manufacturing operations, preferably in plastics, PET packaging or bottling.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Experience with injection molding and stretch blow‑molding processes.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
