Materiel Services Manager (LTA)

About the role

Aerospatiale Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Materiel Services Manager for the LTA programme, based in Getafe. The role acts as single point of contact for customers on material support orders and deliveries, manages end-to-end spares and repair orders and in-service support, and leads performance-based logistics contracts for specific customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pricing information, prepare and issue quotations and price lists, and manage end-to-end orders for spares, repairs and in-service support.
• Follow up and mitigate risks in the spares and repair provisioning process until delivery, and handle customer queries including returned materials and warranty claims.
• Lead performance-based logistics contracts and ensure customer requirements are met, acting as the main interface with the regional directors of Customer Services.
• Keep Material Services aligned with programme targets and policies (time, cost, quality) and coordinate activities across centres of competence such as Operations, Planning and Demand, Logistic Engineering and Material Data.
• Manage entry into service, initial and in-service material support, and major deliveries and quality issues against programme milestones.
• Coordinate Material Services policies with Airbus DS local teams at air bases and lead the cost evolution and budget follow-up, tracking deviations and corrective actions.
• Ensure risks and mitigation plans are managed through the programme risk process, represent Material Services in governance reviews, and support quality and improvement projects.
• Contribute to EBIT, revenues and order intake, especially for spares and repair, and implement cost-reduction measures while supporting new business.

The position is permanent and professional level. Airbus states that candidates must show awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to integrity.
