Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to maintain and improve the reliability of production equipment and industrial facilities in the Valencian Community, Spain. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis and ensuring optimal machine performance to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on production machinery, equipment and industrial facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, defects and potential failures.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, downtime, spare parts usage and corrective actions using a CMMS.
• Monitor inventory and ensure efficient use of spare parts and consumables.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workshop areas in a clean, organized and safe condition.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance activities and minimise operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and company maintenance standards, including proper use of PPE.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, modification and relocation of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise maintenance processes and equipment performance.

Required profile

• Vocational training (intermediate or advanced) in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience performing electromechanical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial automation systems.
• Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
