MedTech Field Service Engineer – Automated Medication Dispensing Systems (Flexible/Part-Time)

About the role

iqvia's MedTech Field Service Engineers install and configure automated medication dispensing systems in healthcare facilities across Spain. The role is flexible and part-time, assignment-based, with a typical week of 16-30 hours plus travel time. Training is provided and paid. Travel is 100% local, regional and national, and requires open availability Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test and assemble automated medication dispensing systems, covering hardware, software and mechanical devices.
• Review schematics, drawings, documentation and logistics to support installation.
• Carry out routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Ensure work meets quality compliance requirements.
• Work with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.

Required profile

• Bachiller diploma required.
• At least 1 year of related experience in electronics, hardware, software or mechanical fields.
• English and Spanish or Portuguese required.
• Comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Active, unrestricted driver's license, personal vehicle and ability to travel locally, regionally and nationally; located within 20 km of a major airport.
• Able to sit and stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including up-to-date immunizations (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, Tdap, hepatitis B, influenza, COVID-19).
• Preferred: military veterans with electronics-related MOS experience.
